Adam DiCarlo of OpenSourcery discusses using Twig with Backbone.js both of which are in Drupal 8. Having tinkered with Backbone.js over the holidays I think its addition to Drupal is going to be very interesting.
Drush Make is a powerful tool that the details of your Drupal deployments. Most of the time it is flawless. I experienced this issue with patches the other day and couldn’t figure it out. Thankfully this post describes the solution to the issue.

Kevin Miller’s (kevee) Reference Helper module allows you to add recent or most relevant entities to Drupal entity reference fields. That may not sound impressive at first but since Kevin added an API the possibilities of this module are pretty interesting.
