Issue 38 June 7, 2012
It's been a crazy week with developments on the Drupal 8 front and a lot of conversations about sexism at DrupalCons. On a personal note, I've been very busy working on a Drupal product called Open Association for 59DaysOfCode, a local hacker competition. I will be sharing more details about this project over the next couple weeks. If you would like to show your support sign up on the Open Association web site.
If you have been following the development of the DrupalCon Code of Conduct be sure and read George DeMet's latest draft. In my opinion it seems to me to strike the right balance.
Angie Byron shares her DrupalCamp Vancouver slides "hook_future_alter()". This presentation covers the plans for Drupal 8 and how it will impact the those of use who use and develop with it. Angie is asking us all to give this presentation at our local drupal events! SO... get on that.

I highly recommend State Machine module if you need a custom workflow.
